SAW V had its panel at the Comic-Con late in the evening and the master villain Jigsaw, Tobin Bell himself was there to promote the fifth installment. Afterwards, outside the room, fans are swarming around him to get autographs. People are taking pictures and he was cool about it. His face still gives me the creeps but the fact that he took the time to sign autographs is prove that not only is he Fan Friendly, he also knows that the fans are the ones who keep this franchise going.
Five movies and they got theatrical release while other horror movies start in theater but the sequels end up straight to DVD.
I mean, come on, you gotta admire that part about SAW franchise whether you like it or not.
Via Yahoo, here’s the teaser that was shown at the Panel event. To tell you the truth, I don’t know why they had to use “Be Thou My Vision” for the song in this teaser. I’m not sure what their point is. Some might find this offensive or blasphemous. On the other hand, if you’re offended then it’s clear that this is not meant for you to watch in the first place.
This Halloween is going to be Tight! I can’t wait to see what other tricks Jigsaw’s apprentice got up his sleeves.
