Today it was announced that Mickey Rourke got a higher pay to become the Russian Villain in IRON MAN 2 but apparently the info didn’t stop just there. Nikki Finke who was the source also went on to report that previous info about Scarlett Johannson playing Black Widow has now become a reality.
But unlike Rourke, Johannson didn’t get a good deal, as a matter of fact, she’s getting ‘lowball money’, as in too low for her hotness, to play the character that was supposed be for Emily Blunt but Fox forced Blunt to stay with Jack Black’s movie Gulliver’s Travel instead.
If only we could know what the exact dollar figures are. I guess Scarlett doesn’t think much about money or just badly wants to be in a superhero movie that doesn’t flop like The Spirit, maybe she thinks this would be her way of cleaning herself off of Frank Miller’s directorial disaster that she starred in.
Not only that, Scarlett Johannson is going to stick around as the femme fatale Natasha Romanoff a.k.a Black Widow and keep reprising that role for future Marvel movies to come including the one that combines all of the gang, THE AVENGERS.
