As we know, Kevin Williamson is writing a new Scream trilogy starting with SCREAM 4. Wes Craven wasn’t against the idea to direct again and the guys who will return for sure are Neve Campbell, David Arquette and his lover Courtney Cox but obviously only because they got nothing better to do.
The following info should not take you by surprise because every single horror sequels and remakes nowadays are jumping on the 3D bandwagon and they don’t give a damn what we think…
Bloody Disgusting has heard that The Weinstein Company is going to film and release SCREAM 4 in 3D. Whoa! I don’t know if I wanna experience Neve Campbell that up close. I’ll make exception on Courtney Cox.
On top of that, word has it Wes Craven is getting closer to returning as the director again.
When it comes down to it, these people need to thank SCREAM franchise because where would they be without it.
Like I said once before, this is like a big fat reunion that none of us wanted but it’s happening anyway.
Production is scheduled to start either in April or May of 2010
