Did you like Mel Gibson’s comedy What Women Want? I thought it was a funny concept, you usually can’t go wrong with director Nancy Meyers, of course Mel Gibson waxing his legs is a bit painful to watch but the movie was mostly funny right up until its forced effort to hook Gibson up with Helen Hunt. But seriously though, all these years did you ever think it was going to get a sequel, or a reboot, or a spin-off? Well, New Line thinks it can pull a stunt like that…
According to Variety, New Line/Warner Bros. has bought the comedy pitch by Amy Andelson and Emily Meyer, titled WHAT BOYS WANT and 17 year old teen idol Selena Gomez (Disney Channel’s The Wizards of Waverly Place) is set to star a teenage girl who can hear what men are thinking.
So does that mean she can hear older men’s thought too?.. we’ll that’s a little creepy, huh?! An
I hope Nancy Meyes puts down a heavy protection on her Something’s Gotta Give before a studio someday screws with that one as well.
