Slow news day, not that there’s nothing going on, it’s just that the things that do go on aren’t interesting… kinda like watching Britney Spears concert..
Except for this one, the rising comedy movie star Seth Rogen (Knocked Up, 40 Year old Virgin) talked to moviehole that the Studio has always wanted Seth and Jonah to make SUPERBAD 2 but it seems like it might NEVER happen after all.
“They’re been wanting us to do a sequel to Superbad for so long – but we’ve held off,” Rogen said. “We eventually said No.”
And then he talked about the possibility of PINEAPPLE EXPRESS 2.
I’ve seen the movie Pineapple Express and I think it’s one of the funniest stoner’s flicks I’ve ever seen, those of you who don’t mind pothead movies would definitely enjoy it. So I think it has a chance of making it big at the box office.
“If it did well, and they gave us like $50 million dollars, as opposed to the $26M we got for this one, we could benefit from that.”
So it might happen, only if the first movie goes well.
Seth Rogen and James Franco will have to see the response once it hits theaters August 8th, 2008.
