Shia LaBeouf is the New Indiana Jones?

Indy JonesApparently today has been filled with out of this world info that I just can’t believe my senses anymore. Vanity Fair was trying to find out if there’s more after INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF CRYSTAL SKULL.

No one from the film would comment on the possibility of another trilogy. Secrets are kept safe in Spielberg’s infantry, those who leak even a tiny bit of hint would get shot on sight… OR just get fired and banned from the industry.

The interesting part is…. the writer of that article, Jim Windolf made this following analysis

If Harrison Ford really does hand over his bullwhip to LaBeouf at the end of the upcoming movie, would that be a smart business move? Is LaBeouf big enough to carry the series beyond “Indy IV”? Older moviegoers may look at him and see an unformed kid, but Hollywood sees a star on the rise who is already incredibly bankable.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will take place in 1957. It’s not hard to imagine the series making a return in a few years, with Ford assuming a background role as LaBeouf takes the punishment and the glory. If it’s done right, how cool would it be to see the franchise making its way into the 1960s and beyond? And there’s something else to consider: Indiana Jones movies are a known and lucrative commodity that should be able to make money for years to come, especially if audiences accept a handover to LaBeouf.

Now that’s just pushing it!
We haven’t seen INDY IV and our faces are already shoved against the wall with a;; this assumption?

Shia LaBeouf is a talented rising actor but he’s no Indiana Jones.
Just imagine it! There’s no way he can wear the big hat, carry the whip and come out cool.
Shia’s good at playing characters who tend to panic.
He just doesn’t have the Indy Charm.

Indy Jones

The guy who starred in the early 90s TV series The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, (Sean Patrick Flanery), would make a better successor than LaBeouf, that is if Steven, Lucas, and the gang really are planning to squeeze this juice to the last drop, which I don’t think they should.

I think this Indiana Jones 4 Movie is gonna be a massive hit worldwide… so let this be the last one, let the famous archeologist go out in a blaze of glory for ark’s sake!

What do you think? Do you wanna see Shia LaBeouf play Indiana Jones?
Do you think they should make more Indiana Jones movies?
