Shyamalan’s Plot For DEVIL?

M. Night Shyamalan

We know recently that actor Chris Mesina has been cast in DEVIL based a story by M. Night Shyamalan, directed by John Erick Dowdle and Drew Dowdle, the dudes who helmed Quarantine the remake, meanwhile the script was written by Brian Nelson (30 Days of Night) but the million dollar question is.. what the hell is the story about? I personally like the title.. it’s blunt, straightforward and for some reason, it doesn’t say ‘THE Devil’, it simply says DEVIL, That adds a certain kick to it. Slashfilm has learned a bit of what we can anticipate from the mysterious movie, and if this is the plot, then count me in…

Devil is basically a supernatural thriller set inside of an office building. There are some people stuck in an elevator, and one of them is not who they say they are (*cough* it’s in the title *caugh*)

There is also a security guard and a policeman. The security guard is trying to convince the policeman to get them out of the elevator. He is also trying to convince the policeman that he is the chosen one to save the people.

Wow, now it’s gotten interesting. Makes you wanna know why Devil is getting himself stuck in an elevator with the normies, what is he up to?
Hollywood Reporter says the following actors have joined the ensemble cast as well…Logan Marshall-Green, Jenny O’Hara, Jacob Vargas, Matt Craven, Bojana Novakovic, Bokeem Woodbine, Geoffrey Arend and Caroline Dhavernas.
I got a feeling we’ll be hearing soon about who will play the policeman, who will play the security guard, who will play those poor souls stuck in an elevator and of course, who will play.. Devil.. I’m surprised they didn’t call Gary Oldman for this role.
