A few months ago, Latinoreview reported that the writing team Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick of the upcoming Zombieland would pen the screenplay for VENOM Movie which I thought was a great idea because that character is still one of the most menacing, powerful villains in the superhero world that unfortunately didn’t get a decent portrayal in Spider-Man 3. And if you’ve seen the bloody fun time trailer for Zombieland, you’d believe that Reese and Wernick could write an entertaining, badass VENOM Movie. The two scribes said they weren’t experts but they were going to re-learn the mythology again to get this right for the fans.
We don’t know what they have for the storyline yet but what we do know is that, via Superherohype, comic legend Stan Lee once again will do a cameo. Reese and Wernick said that they’ve written a part for Lee whose funny appearances are some of the highlights in Marvel movies. Just recently, Nukethefridge said Lee’s going to play a Larry King-like personality interviewing Tony Stark in IRON MAN 2.
