There are two movies that have die hard fanbase, more loyal than my passion for roasted chicken. Star Trek and Star Wars have had cult-like following that would hate each others’ guts, people that would be willing to camp out and spend nights in long lines just to get the first dibs on the latest movie or the latest video game. Nerds and geeks who probably don’t know a thing about talking to girls.
In the case of FANBOYS, a group of Star Wars fans realize that one of their own might not live long enough to catch Star Wars: Episode 1 (The story is set in 1998) so they’re gonna go cross country to visit Skywalker Ranch and steal the first a print of the movie Phantom Menace.
Why didn’t I think of that?!
Williams Shatner, and Seth Rogen and Princess Leia herself, Carrie Fisher will all show up in this movie.
The trailer makes it look like it’s going to be a funny movie, but so far any movie that has actor Dan Fogler (Balls of Fury, Good Luck Chuck) in it hasn’t been all that awesome.
