After watching STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS you’ll be asking the question, ‘when will this madness end?’. This movie is by far the lamest, most uncool animated movie of the year. All it does it tries to take advantage of Star Wars fans and squeeze some more money out of your pocket by giving us this… poor excuse for a family movie. Nothing impressive about the graphics, the fights scenes, the dialogue or the storyline. Those who might find this spectacular would be hardcore fans who are so blinded they can’t tell difference between good quality and crapola anymore.
As the Clone Wars sweep through the galaxy, the heroic Jedi Knights struggle to maintain order and restore peace. More and more systems are falling prey to the forces of the dark side as the Galactic Republic slips further and further under the sway of the Separatists and their never-ending droid army. Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan learner Ahsoka Tano find themselves on a mission with far-reaching consequences, one that brings them face-to-face with crime lord Jabba the Hutt. But Count Dooku and his sinister agents, including the nefarious Asajj Ventress, will stop at nothing to ensure that Anakin and Ahsoka fail at their quest. Meanwhile, on the front lines of the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Master Yoda lead the massive clone army in a valiant effort to resist the forces of the dark side

Is it just me or does the animation in this movie looks so creepy and puppet like, instead of CG, it actually reminds me of that old Thunderbird TV series I used to watch when I was a kid.
Look, I’m not an expert in CG or animation in general, but I know what’s interesting to watch,… and the characters, the environment, the looks and feel of this movie is anything but interesting.
I blame the storyline, it’s just too damn simple. I know they try to cater to younger audiences, but I’m sure kids today are not that naive.
They’ve seen other better, more sophisticated animated movie that something like this would just be something for them to laugh at.
There’s nothing clever about the whole tricking Java the Hut to go into war against the Republic.
The puns and the humor are dry like material made by a stand up comic who can’t catch a big break.
The movie starts out on an okay note, there’s a battle scene and as always cocky Anakin Skywalker wants to show off how cool he is in beating the enemy all on his own. But then the whole mentoring story comes into play and it becomes cheesy from there on out.
The character Ashoka Tano who is the apprentice is unlikeable.
You know what annoys me the most, and I think it’s because I’ve seen enough Star Wars for one lifetime… this movie has too many purposeless battle scenes. Those laser beams actually give me a headache. If I had to seen one more light saber, so help me I swear… (taking a deep breath)
How many more version of Star Wars do we have to take. I wouldn’t mind if there’s a new and fresh take on the characters that would bring us to a whole new adventure but it just feels like we’ve been here before and it feels like we’re treated with the same menu over and over again.
STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS should’ve gone straight to DVD. It even looks more fitting as a video game than it is a movie.
