Ever wondered how Ben Stiller would do in a drama movie? You’re about to find out when the movie GREENBURG gets done because according to HollywoodReporter, Ben Stiller is going to replace Mark Ruffalo in the drama by writer/director Noel Baumbach, he’s the dude who helmed The Squid and The Whale and Margot at the Wedding.
The plot for GREENBURG is being kept under wraps, in secrecy, meaning if you happen to know the story, producer Scott Rudin’s going to contact the sniper on the building right across the street from your house, to shoot you to kingdom come.
Amy Adams whose name was attached as the lead actress has left the project too, so they’re going to find another female lead.
Well that’s not a good sign, I’m a big fan of Amy Adams and if she abandons something, then I take it that that something must be crap.
As previously announced, Ben Stiller who directed the comedy sensation Tropic Thunder is also in talks with Dreamworks to direct the drama THE TRIAL OF CHICAGO 7.
Could Stiller be taken seriously as a drama director?
