Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper

The Hangover did good for Bradley Cooper’s career. He spent screen time with Julia Roberts in Valentine’s Day, he’ll get action-packed with Liam Neeson this summer in THE A-TEAM and now he’ll get to act alongside legendary Robert De Niro in THE DARK FIELDSRead the rest of this entry »

Elizabeth Banks Goes DARK?

The hot girl that’s often seen in movies made by any member of the Apatow gang, Elizabeth Banks, is said to play the female lead in DARK FIELDS along side Bradley Cooper. Comingsoon.net first heard of this info, they’re still waiting for confirmation… Read the rest of this entry »

No WAR For Bradley Cooper

Posted by Rama On February - 25 - 2010

Bradley Cooper doesn’t believe in War, he believes in getting drunk til the sun don’t shine. This is not a matter of philosophy, actually. Cooper was attached to THIS MEANS WAR along with co-star Reese Witherspoon, a comedy to be directed by McG, about “two best friends, inseparable since childhood, who fall in love with the same woman (Witherspoon). The two men’s bond disintegrates and their ensuing battle escalates to mammoth proportions, with New York City demolished in their wake.”
But EW reported that Cooper has officially exited the project… Read the rest of this entry »

Bradley Cooper And Joe Carnahan To Reunite For THE GREY

Posted by Rama On February - 12 - 2010

Bradley Cooper Joe Carnahan

Bradley Cooper is going to be playing Faceman this summer in Joe Carnahan-directed movie version of my 80s favorite series THE A-TEAM, which is produced by the Scott bros., Ridley and Tony through their Scott Free banner. Now all four of them have decided to collaborate again for THE GREY
Variety said, the story is about “survivors of plane crash who are then hunted by a pack of wolves”
I just saw Adam Green’s indie Fright flick Frozen the other weekend that also involved people getting eaten by a pack of wolves… I guess I gotta prepare my stomach for another one.

McG, Bradley Cooper, Reese Witherspoon

The next project for Terminator Salvation director McG is unlike any other romantic comedy plotline I’ve ever encountered before because it’s also somewhat of a pre-apocalyptic action film if I understand it correctly. According to Hollywood Reporter, Bradley Cooper (The Hangover) and Reese Witherspoon are attached to star in THIS MEANS WARRead the rest of this entry »

THE A-TEAM: 6 New Photos

Posted by Rama On January - 14 - 2010

The A-Team

Here are 6 new photos, via comingsoon.net, from the upcoming big screen version of my favorite 80s series THE A-TEAM (watch the trailer). Liam Neeson plays Hannibal Smith. Sharlto Copley as Murdock. Bradley Cooper as Face and Rampage as B.A. Baracus. Also starring Jessica Biel. Directed by Joe Carnahan. Produced by Ridley and Tony Scott, with screenplay written by Derek Haas and Michael Brandt (Wanted). I’m still curious as to how mad Sharlto Copley’s Murdock is going to be in this movie, so far I got the impression that he’s going to be a lot calmer than the original character played by Dwight Schultz. the-hangover

If you’d recall, talks of THE HANGOVER 2 already started before The Hangover was even released this past summer, the studio acted simply on how well it was received at test screenings. The hilarious movie about three guys who can’t remember what happened the night before in Vegas and lost their groom friend went on to become the highest grossing R-rated comedy of all time banking $277 Million domestically. The sequel hasn’t been greenlit yet and thank God for people like Zach Galifianakis who’s not hasty about jumping in for second round if the script is not right. Speaking of which, director Todd Phillips recently talked, via EW, to give the world updates on the development of THE HANGOVER 2Read the rest of this entry »

THE HANGOVER For Best Picture? Ha!

Posted by Rama On November - 23 - 2009

Hangover

Firstshowing noticed something odd while flipping through Variety online pages, they stumbled upon a ‘For Your Consideration’ ad but the movie in discussion is not what anyone would quickly consider as Oscar Worthy, it’s THE HANGOVER, the funniest movie of the year and the highest grossing R-rated comedy of all time.
The website thinks this is not a prank or a joke since it is plastered on a legit solid movie news site, but it also thinks that this maybe to get THE HANGOVER considered for Golden Globes Award for Best Picture in Comedy/Musical category rather than for an Oscar.
But remember, the Oscars will now have 10 nominees for Best Picture, do you think a movie like THE HANGOVER would have the slightest chance at all? Are Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis best supporting materials? Does a comedy have to be a dramedy (drama/comedy) like Little Miss Sunshine and Juno to even get nominated?

Bradley Cooper And Sam Worthington In TEXAS KILLING FIELDS?

Bradley Cooper Sam Worthington

I know, it’s easy to assume this has anything to do with Texas Chainsaw Massacre but THE TEXAS KILLING FIELDS was once a project that director Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire) was circling. It’s nothing like the destiny themed mumbai brothers story, this one is hella dark, it’s about… Read the rest of this entry »

Dwight Schultz Has A Cameo In THE A-TEAM

Posted by Rama On November - 10 - 2009

The A-Team

I know all this time I’ve been talking trash about Sharlto Copley for playing Howlin’ Mad Murdock in my most anticipated movie of 2010, THE A-TEAM based on one of the coolest TV series in the 80s. I’ve always pictured Jim Carrey or possibly Woody Harrelson for the role but not Copley. However, I’m willing to give him a fighting chance because turns out, the man who played Murdock in the original show, the great Dwight Schultz actually enjoyed Copley’s portrayal. Here’s the more awesome info though, Schultz will have a cameo in THE A-TEAM big screen version. Is that awesome or what!… Read the rest of this entry »
