Some of you might recognize him as Doctor Who or his appearance in Heroes, some of you might remember him this year as Destro in G.I. Joe: Rise Of Cobra, some of us try to forget that he was ever in the dull biopic Amelia. But now you’re going to see him as the man we need to thank for Brit Rock n’ Roll, the late great John Lennon. His life was so significant, tragic and memorable, it wasn’t enough just to depict his teenage and adolescent years in the upcoming Nowhere Boy (Check out the trailer). If you haven’t seen Carey Mulligan this year in the excellent movie An Education, make sure you put that on your must-see list and check your local theaters to see if they’re playing it because come spring of next year she’d get either nominated or actually take home a golden statuette herself. And just like how Phillip Seymour Hoffman followed up his Capote win with a great villain role in MI:3, I think Mulligan would still be able to capture our heart playing Shia’s girl in the upcoming WALL STREET 2.
