I wanna place a spotlight on three particular characters that have rocked the screen in the past few months. Three badass, craziest good guys whose methods of taking care of business were unorthodox yet effective, whose impressive charm stayed with us long after the movies were done, thanks to the great actors behind them. Zombieland’s Tallahassee, Daybreakers‘ Elvis, and From Paris With Love’s Charlie Wax. What did those three guys have in common? Furst Films, the production company with a first look deal with Overture and that’s bringing us DAYBREAKERS set to open this weekend, has bought the screen rights to THE SITTER based on the book by R.L. Stine, the man behind all those Goosebumps series which I couldn’t get myself to read when I was a teenager. This past year, Lionsgate released a unique trailer for Crank 2: High Voltage where the clip practically smashed the web browser as it went. Lionsgate has released something similar for the upcoming vampire movie DAYBREAKERS. The studio teamed up with Break.com to bring together an awesome takeover page! Lionsgate has released the new trailer for DAYBREAKERS via Yahoo. Once again, it’s one of those that’s not far different than the previous trailer. Although the vampire action DAYBREAKERS won’t be released til January, but some were lucky enough to have watched and reviewed it and I’ve heard good things so far. Lionsgate has released this PSA vibrant video, much like what Bruce Willis‘ Surrogates did. The short commercial ad talks about the company that farm humans for blood so the world that’s now full of vampires could go on. Of course, the clip has to end with scar images and a reminder that this is just a movie that will arrive on January 8th, 2010.
