I usually don’t post stuff that go straight to DVD unless they’re really awesome, but I needed to laugh so here’s the trailer for UNIVERSAL SOLDIER: REGENERATION from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. I kid you not, it’s another installment starring yet again, Jean Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren, along with Andrei “The Pitbull” Arlovski who I never thought was human anyway. All the action takes place mostly in an abandoned factory (boring!) but the part that cracks me up is when the mad scientist caress Andrei’s head like he’s a pet. The movie will hit DVD on February 2nd, 2010. Ya know, I thought Van Damme would return to the big screen again after the success of  J.V.C.D., after he thought he was too cool to join Sly Stallone’s THE EXPENDABLES, I guess he’s comfortable with being a DVD star. He used to fight Rocky Balboa back in the 80s, when the Soviets were a threat and the only way America could beat them was in a boxing ring. Fast forward to today, Dolph Lundgren who played Draco makes his living by kicking bad guys in straight to DVD movies. But those B-list days are going to be put aside because Dolph is part of the action cast of Sly Stallone’s upcoming THE EXPENDABLES about a team of mercenaries on a mission to topple a South American dictator. Guys like Jason Statham, Jet Li, Sly, and Stone Cold Steve Austin will open a can of ass-whoopin’
Dolph Lundgren talked with Wizard recently and revealed a pretty serious SPOILER...the kind that might ruin your movie watching experience,.. so if you still wanna know, then read at your own risk

He explained that his character is..
“a mercenary who’s part of Sly’s team. He’s kind of a victim of the violence. He ends up getting fired by Stallone. Later in the picture, some other sinister character trying to get back at Sly and his and people hires me to take him out. Because I need the money
, I do it. There’s a showdown between me, him and Jet Li.”

Another round of Lundgren Vs. Stallone, plus Jet Li. Triangle of death. O wait, does this mean Jason Statham and Stone Cold Steve Austin’s characters die and they don’t get to join the last fight? dun, dun, dun!

Do you remember the blond freak of nature who fought Rocky in ROCKY IV?
Okay, how about this… he’s the same guy who was in Universal Soldier?!
In the 80s, he also was also The Punisher at one point and at another, he was He-Man in Masters of the Universe.
His name is Dolph Lundgren. Ring a bell?

His name has been associated by a ton of sh**ty movies. Stuff that you probably wouldn’t be proud of if you were him.
According to Hollywood Reporter, he’s about to make a comeback with a movie project titled COMMAND PERFORMANCE.
What the F?!

You’d never believe what he said about how he’d describe his next movie…

Lundgren describes the project as, “Die Hard at a rock concert,” with Lundgren to star as a drummer for a opening act for a major American rock band that is performing in Moscow for the Russian premier, when baddies break up the gig and the drummer, an ex-Marine, springs into action.

“I got the idea from Madonna,” Lundgren said. “She did a concert for (Russian President Vladimir) Putin a few years ago.”

Can you believe this guy!
Would somebody please kill this no-talent douchebag’s career once and for all!

He must be out of his mind if he thinks that by marketing it as “Die Hard at a rock concert” would get audiences excited about it.
