Johnson and Jackson play an elite and cocky cop tandem whose exploits are the envy of the department, and the second-tier cops played by Ferrell and Wahlberg.

I can’t believe this is actually happening and I”m actually watching this dumb trailer. 20th Century Fox has released the trailer for TOOTH FAIRY, via Yahoomovies, starring Dwayne Johnson as.. I wish I could say something more macho here but yeah, sadly he plays a tooth fairy, complete with wings too and for some reason Julie Andrews and Billy Crystal think this movie is going to be funny. And the Razzie Award goes to…
Johnson plays “The Tooth Fairy,” also known as Derek Thompson, a hard-charging minor league hockey player whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from their bicuspids. When Derek discourages a youngster’s hopes, he’s sentenced to one week’s hard labor as a real tooth fairy, complete with the requisite tutu, wings and magic wand. At first, Derek “can’t handle the tooth” – bumbling and stumbling as he tries to furtively wing his way through strangers’ homes…doing what tooth fairies do. But as Derek slowly adapts to his new position,he begins to rediscover his own forgotten dreams.

We just saw the teaser poster for TOOTH FAIRY the other day and we mourned over Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and his choices but what can we do? Nada! The Rock has joined yet another comedy starring a comedian who, in my opinion, just isn’t funny anymore.
According to Variety, Dwayne Johnson, Samuel L. mothaF*in’ Jackson, and Steve Coogan are set to co-star in THE OTHER GUYS, previously titled THE B-TEAM, directed by Adam McKay starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg

Coogan will play the villain
THE OTHER GUYS is set to open August 6th, 2010 release.
Written by Chris Henchy and McKay, the film is a co-production between Gary Sanchez Productions and Mosaic.
The cast also includes Eva Mendes, Michael Keaton and Damon Wayans Jr.. This Columbia Pictures project starts production tomorrow.
O dear.. holy crapola,.. the poster for TOOTH FAIRY has hit the web, via Impawards and I don’t know whether to laugh or feel sad for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Plus it opens in January which should give you another hint that this would most likely be a tooth-aching movie watching experience. The Rock’s stubborness to keep making family comedy movies instead of hardcore action has gone way out of hand.
Dwayne Johnson plays a minor league hockey player nicknamed the Tooth Fairy. Ashley Judd plays his girlfriend, a single mother of two kids.
