Family Guy Star Wars

Family Guy is making fun of STAR WARS again, this time, they’re doing an exact spoof remake of the entire 1980 classic Empire Strikes Back. The trailer is here, via iTunes and Apple, you can watch it using the media player below. Problem is.. I’m not laughing, the trailer is dumb, they’re recycling old jokes, I think Seth McFarlane and the gang have lost their funny mojo. I know there have been talks of FAMILY GUY big screen treatment but now I don’t think it’s such a good idea anymore, not if they keep the same humor again and again. Wow, I’m very disappointed, what the hell happened? This used to be the series that took my college years by storm.

FAMILY GUY: SOMETHING SOMETHING SOMETHING DARK SIDE hits DVD and Blu-Ray December 22nd, 2009 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, on the same day that it will also be available on iTunes. The Blu-ray Disc will include a portable digital copy of the film from the iTunes Store. My suggestion.. don’t waste your money on this… Read the rest of this entry »

If FAMILY GUY Was Made By Disney

Posted by Rama On September - 30 - 2009

The latest episode of FAMILY GUY “Road To The Multiverse” made fun of Disney by altering Stewie, Brian, and the rest of The Griffin family into what they’d be if they were animated by the mouse house. I gotta say, Lois looks even hotter as a Disney character. O and it also pokes on the old, old rumor about Walt Disney hating Jews. Check out the vibrant video above which continues to also make fun of Robot Chicken.

FAMILY GUY Live Action Movie?

Talks about FAMILY GUY The Movie has been going on for a while now and I was starting to lose hope because nothing ever happened. Via filmdrunk.com, the creator of the hilarious animated series, Seth McFarlane recently talked on podcast with Adam Carolla and implied that the movie might be live action..

MCFARLANE: I can say with definitive assuredness that it will be out. Within the next few years. We already know what it’s gonna be. We’ve been trying to lock into something that makes it so that it has to be a movie, as opposed to an extended Family Guy episode. And I like the Simpson’s Movie , but that’s something they could do with animation on TV because they’re not constrained by sets. [...] You have to find some way to make it so that it has to be a movie.

CAROLLA: Are you hinting at some live action?

MCFARLANE: Possibly, possibly. Here and there. It will not be a 90-minute Family Guy episode.

If it’s live action, then the toughest task, in my opinion would be finding out who should play baby Stewie. You can probably go CG on Brian the dog in the same style of Alvin and The Chipmunks movie, but it’ll be too much if you do the same on Stewie too.
Who would you cast as the live action version of this.. dysfunctional family from Rhode Island?
If it were up to me, I’d cast comedian Reno Coullier as Peter Griffin. Just look at his picture below, don’t you think he’d be perfect for the role? Reno Coullier by the way hangs out with Larry The Cable Guy and the Blue Collar Comedy Tour.
