According to Deadline Hollywood, director Bill Condon is teaming up again with his Dreamgirls producer Laurence Mark for yet another musical title THE SONG IS YOU based on the novel by author Arthur Phillips. The project is housed at Focus Features, Condon will write the script and direct about “a middle-aged commercials director who fixates on a young woman he hears singing at a bar.
