It was tough to pick the winner out of the Best Supporting nominees 2007. The great veteran actor Hal Holbrook could’ve easily won if Javier Bardem wasn’t in the race. Holbrook’s performance in Into The Wild was deeply emotional, absolutely memorable. Below is the trailer for the indie film THAT EVENING SUN written by Scott Teems in his directorial debut. The movie premiered at SXSW ‘09 and could hopefully get Holbrook another Oscar nomination. Just watch the trailer after the jump and you’ll see that the old man’s still got some fight left in him.
