Cecile De France Lives In Eastwood’s HEREAFTER
The Belgian hottie who was bloodied up in Alexandre Aja’s High Tension has joined the cast of Clint Eastwood’s latest attempt on Oscar, HEREAFTER. By the way, will we ever get a Clint Eastwood movie that’s just for fun movie watching experience anymore? Matt Damon Lives In The HEREAFTER For Clint Eastwood
UPDATE: Movieline cracked the plot. It’s got its hands on Peter Morgan’s script and turns out HEREAFTER is not quite the thriller as it’s described. The story goes global, it’s a drama starring 3 people living in 3 different parts of the world and they’re all dealing with the questions of life after death. Matt Damon plays the guy who can see dead people. Head on OVER THERE to read more
Still waiting for the trailer for INVICTUS, (check out the first official image) the next Oscar worthy true story movie by director Clint Eastwood starring Morgan Freeman as Nelson Mandela and Matt Damon as rugby Athlete Francois Pienaar, it’s what’s going to challenge Peter Jackson’s THE LOVELY BONES which opens on the same weekend of December 11th, 2009
According to Variety, Damon will team up again with Eastwood for HEREAFTER, a project that Eastwood has been eyeing for quite some time now, it’s a supernatural thriller about… well, sadly the plot is still kept under wraps. I don’t like it when there’s too much secrecy, I just hope it pays off with great twists and turns. By the way, word has it, the story is described to be in the same spirit as The Sixth Sense. Make of it as you want right now, until we hear further.
Production for HEREAFTER will start this fall, written by one of the most respected screenwriters of our generation, Peter Morgan, nominated for Frost/Nixon and The Queen. His spec was bought by Dreamworks back in March 2008 when it was still with Paramount but now the project is housed at Warner Bros
Matt Damon has proven himself to be a busy man, he’s got THE ADJUSTMENT BUREAU, LIBERACE, THE BOURNE 4 in his pocket, there are rumors of ROUNDERS 2 as well.
