We previously saw the first look images of Adrien Brody all tattoed up as a drug dealer in the movie HIGH SCHOOL which makes its way to this year’s Sundance, meaning I gotta wait for its theatrical release, whenever the hell that’s going to be, to actually watch the damn thing. Impawards got a couple of posters for HIGH SCHOOL with artwork so damn creative, they put Pineapple Express posters to shame. Whether you’re for or against weed, the fact remains, pothead/stoner comedy is always funny, even when you’re not high watching it. Whoa! Do you notice the guy with all the tattoes? That’s Adrien Brody, man! The same Pianist, Bloom Brothers Brody in an appearance unlike anything you’ve ever seen him before. If there’s one actor who’s been consistent in his career, it’s Brody but the question of whether he can do comedy will now be answered as he plays a drug dealer in HIGH SCHOOL, directed by John Stahlberg. Let’s just forget for a second that Brody is also currently involved in PREDATORS Reboot, ok?!
Quiet Earth managed to get its hands on some first look photos from HIGH SCHOOL that will also star Colin Hanks, Michael Chicklis, Michael Vartan, Curtis Armstrong, and Yeardley Smith whom you know as the voice of Lisa Simpsons.
The story is about a high school valedictorian who, after getting high with the school stoner and facing a drug test, makes what seems like the only logical decision: getting the entire school stoned so he can beat the test by making everyone fail. The movie is in post-production, it’s expected to open in 2010.
