THE SHINING Sequel?

The Shining

Redrum! Redrum! It should’ve been a chilling, scary experience but I was laughing hard when the kid kept repeating this line again and again in The Shining. The following info is a few days old and it’s not really movie-related but I’ll share it anyway because it involves one of the great classic thrillers of the past based on the creation of the master of horror, Stephen King. Some of you may know that King has a new book out in stores called Under The Dome. They’re in the process of developing it into a series but that’s not the headline… Read the rest of this entry »

DIRTY OLD Freeman And Segal

Morgan Freeman Peter Segal

One of my favorite movies in 2007 was The Bucket List. I actually have a list of my own, no I’m not dying which makes it even more fun because I got all the time in the world to do every single activity on that list, there’s no grim reaper waiting at my doorstep. But to ask for a sequel would be a bit silly since of course, and this is not really a spoiler if you think about it, the old lead characters died in the end. But with any luck, we might see a reunion of Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson on the big screen. Cross your fingers… Read the rest of this entry »

Nicholson And Brooks Reunited

When I grow up I wanna be just like Jack Nicholson, 72 years old and still kickin’, still a playa, still watching the Lakers live.. best seat in the house too, man now that’s living! That’s why I don’t get why Sean Connery retired from acting, because if you love something, you’re gonna wanna do it til you die. According to Variety, Nicholson is going to team up again with director James L. Brooks, the man who helped Nicholson got 2 of his 3 Oscars (Terms of Endearment, As Good As It Gets)

It’s an untitled original screenplay by Brooks, about a love triangle. Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson have all signed on to star. Rudd plays a white-collar executive trying to win the affection of Witherspoon who plays a softball player, and Wilson will play a professional baseball pitcher with a 94-mile an hour fastball who is also a love interest.

Nicholson is going to play the role that was originally meant for Bill Murray, as the father of Rudd’s character, but Murray’s deal never got locked in and so Brooks turned to his go-to guy,.. the man with the shades.
Production will start later in June.
Could this be a potential 4th Oscar for Nicholson?

Jack Nicholson supports Hillary Clinton for President

Posted by Rama On March - 3 - 2008

Legendary Actor Jack Nicholson, with the help of his friend Director Rob Reiner (A Few Good Men) have compiled clips from some of Jack’s famous roles from The Joker, The Shining, even Chinatown… all that to promote Hillary Clinton to become the next President of the good old US of A.
I’m aware that most Hollywood superstars are Democrats but I didn’t think Jack would vote for Hillary.
I like him better when he’s just known as Jack Nicholson, the biggest fan of the Lakers.
Check out this clip and tell me what you think
