We saw the trailer without boobies.. and then we saw the trailer WITH boobies, and now the 2nd green-band, still not funny trailer for HOT TUB TIME MACHINE has hit the web, via Apple. The only decent part in this one is when John Cusack yells “I Hate This Decade!” It’s funny because Cusack’s glorious career was in the 80s (Better Off Dead, Stand By Me, One Crazy Summer, Say Anything). Even though the world is still waiting confirmation if WB is indeed moving CLASH OF THE TITANS to April 2nd, 2010 to give more time for that 3D conversion, MGM isn’t waiting, it’s moving the release date of HOT TUB TIME MACHINE from its initial March 19th.. to now March 26th, 2010. Back during Comic-Con ‘09, MGM released the red-band teaser for HOT TUB TIME MACHINE and today I got an e-mail saying that the brand new trailer for the upcoming comedy starring John Cusack, Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, Clark Duke and Chevy Chase will be available this Thursday, December 17th. One of the graphic novel adaptation that I’m looking forward to is PREACHER because a, the premise sounds violently cool, and b, I’d watch anything Sam Mendes directs, that man is a maestro. He previously said that John August had finished the script and he had read it, he thought it was very good and the movie was getting closer to being made but he didn’t disclose any actor he may have in mind for the roles.

Holy crap! The insane clip of 2012 that was shown at Comic-Con ‘09 has finally hit the web, via Fancast, and you can watch it using the media player below. Trust me, you’re gonna wanna fasten your seat belt. It’s funny how Cusack and his family seem to always one step ahead of the destruction as the grounds quickly cave in. But this is precisely why I think would be fun if someday Six Flags could have a Roller Coaster based on 2012.

MTV figured out a productive way to spend its labor day weekend. The channel’s segment called “Behind The Screen” gave the world first clips from 3 upcoming movies. The first is 2012 and the scene features John Cusack trying to get his family away from a failing airplane. All I can say is, what a waste of nice cars. The second clip is NINJA ASSASSIN, Korean star Rain is being chased by a gang of mean ninjas, goes to show that fighting in the middle of a busy traffic is not a good idea. We previously saw the lo-res poster and now Yahoo movies got the sharp version of 2012 Poster. I don’t see how they might come up with a second poster, this might as well be the final one, because really.. this is all this movie’s got. Everything blows up, destroyed to pieces. Maybe the next one would feature John Cusack’s giant floating head, and underneath that.. is the world blows up, destroyed to pieces. The trailer for 2012 has hit the web via yahoo..and holy crap, director Roland Emmerich wants to make sure nobody else can destroy the world like he does. Asteroids falling from the sky, the Vatican city killing worshipers, and it’s part action because that car jumping out of the back of a plane reminds me of something that James Bond would’ve done.
In the previous exclusive interview, John Cusack said that in this movie, everything blows up.. I thought he was being a jerk for not sharing much but turns out he wasn’t joking at all… everything does blow up and explode into pieces and rubles in this trailer. We all know that we’re going to watch this movie not for the story.

According to HollywoodReporter, 22 year old Lyndsy Fonseca has joined the cast of HOT TUB TIME MACHINE, she’ll be playing the girlfriend that slipped away from John Cusack’s character in 1987 whom he revisits when he and some friends accidentally travel back in time via their Jacuzzi. Man, that’s such a cool concept. All this time we think about cars or bus, or some sort of weird looking pod or capsule, those are our grandfather’s time machine. Chillin’ in a jacuzzi and traveling time, can’t get more relaxing than that. Too bad my old complex jacuzzi can only do bubbles, taking me back through time would be the last thing it’ll ever want to do.
The project is directed by Steve Pink with the script written by Josh Heald. Also starring Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson and Lizzy Caplan. The movie’s expected to hit theaters next year’s February.
I’m a fan of the series Big Love and Desperate Housewives, so Fonseca’s cute face is very familiar to me… but.. Rama’s SCREEN reader Karen thinks that I need to satisfy the female readers by posting more images of male actors, so here’s an image of HOT TUB TIME MACHINE star John Cusack.. for you, Karen (I know it’s not Paul Walker or Chris Pine, but Cusack will do for now
