Spy Photos: THE TOURIST And BURKE AND HARE
We saw Angelina Jolie chillin’ at a cafe and now accidentalsexiness got spy photos of Johnny Depp on a balcony on the set of THE TOURIST. Along with that are some first look shots of Isla Fisher on the set of BURKE AND HARE in addition to the previous Pegg and Serkis photos.
THE TOURIST is a thriller remake of a 2005 French thriller titled ANTHONY ZIMMER about an American tourist who finds his life in danger when a female Interpol agent uses him as a dupe to flush out an elusive criminal with whom she once had an affair. Originally scripted by Julian Fellowes, with rewrites by Christopher McQuarrie and Jeffrey Nachmanoff
THE TOURIST has been described to be in the same spirit as Hitchcock’s The Man Who Knew Too Much, Polanski’s Frantic and Morel’s Taken. BURKE AND HARE is based on a true story of Irish immigrants William Burke and William Hare who committed the infamous West Port murders in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1827 and 1828 where they killed and sold the corpses of 17 victims to the Edinburgh Medical College for dissection. Isla Fisher will play Burke’s girlfriend, an actress looking for a patron who might or might not be an accomplice to the murders.

Johnny Depp, Nick Cave And The Gang Sing I PUT A SPELL ON YOU, Proceeds Go To Help Haiti
Well, I didn’t get to attend the screening of the new trailer for TRON LEGACY today in L.A. because I was all the way up in Napa Valley, Nor-Cal. But no worries, the trailer will be attached to ALICE IN WONDERLAND this coming weekend anyway.
But here’s a cool must-see vibrant video,… great musicians like Nick Cave, Shane Macgowan, Bobby Gillespie, Glen Matlock, Chrissie Hynde, Paloma Faith, plus lead guitar by Johnny Depp, all recorded this rockin’ song I PUT A SPELL ON YOU, all proceeds go to WORLD CONCERN which is a charity program providing assistance to some of the poorest countries in the world including Haiti, even before the earthquake struck. This single goes on sale March 8th, 2010… Read the rest of this entry »

WHEN YOU’RE STRANGE Trailer. A Documentary About THE DOORS
I grew up listening to Rock n’ Roll music so I can appreciate THE DOORS‘ contribution to the world although I’m not one to be wearing Jim Morrison T-shirt anytime soon. Their music has a way of drilling a hole through your mind and staying in there for days, it’s quite trippy and of course back then I’m sure people added a certain “experience” to enjoy the music. Val Kilmer’s portrayal of Morrison in Oliver Stone’s The Doors wasn’t the best biopic performance but younger Kilmer sure looked like he could be Morrison’s long lost brother, the resemblance was freaky.
Here’s the trailer for the documentary WHEN YOU’RE STRANGE, via its official website. Directed by Tom DiCillo (Double Whammy, Delirious), it’s a look at the late ’60s and early ’70s rock band The Doors, including rare exclusive footage, narrated by today’s biggest movie star also the biggest Rock fans around, Johnny Depp. This film has traveled through festival circuits and will open limited this Spring… Read the rest of this entry »

THE LONE RANGER Movie Gets REVOLUTIONARY ROAD Writer
I got a feeling this one’s going to be one slow movie in the process because Johnny Depp is a super busy dude. THE LONE RANGER movie which was declared last summer as one of Jerry Bruckheimer’s upcoming summer blockbuster missions is still moving forward and Heat Vision said scribe Justin Haythe who adapted Revolutionary Road, has been hired by Disney to write the screenplay, which had screenwriting team Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio previously attached… Read the rest of this entry »
