More of pick Edward or Jacob, more of giving promises, the dad still got that 70s porn star mustache, and look it’s Bryce Dallas Howard playing Rachelle Lefevre’s character Victoria. How can one red head vampire woman can cause so much fear?. Here’s the full trailer for THE RUNAWAYS, via Yahoo, in addition to the previous teaser. The biopic of the Joan Jett’s all female Rock n’ Roll band in the 70s. It made its way to Sundance and Apparition is releasing it this month. Here Dakota Fanning as Cherrie Currie briefly narrates their road to fame. Today Summit Entertainment unleashed preview images of their upcoming movies of 2010. Most of them were nothing new. But two titles stood out, FURRY VENGEANCE starring Brendan Fraser and Brooke Shields, I don’t know why but for some reasons flashes of Monkeybone ran through my mind. Fraser loves coming back to silly adventures like this. The next one is Twilight Saga: ECLIPSE, the photo is like an official version of the first look scanned images we saw back in October. Once again, it’s Edward and Bella in a staring contest. Can’t they do any other pose, for crying out loud?! We saw the first official photo and now MTV has the trailer for THE RUNAWAYS the biopic of the Joan Jett’s all female Rock n’ Roll band in the 70s. Apparition is releasing it on March 19th, 2010 after the movie makes its way first to Sundance.
The trailer is a lot of.. red.. their a-hole manager Michael Shannon insulting, while Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning throwing stuff and singing angry! This could turn out great, I like it. What do you think? Watch the trailer after the jump… Read the rest of this entry »

THE RUNAWAYS will make its way to the upcoming Sundance Film Festival. The first official image has showed up online, you can see the whole size after the jump. Is it wrong for me to say that Dakota Fanning looks absolutely stunning in that image? Because a decade ago she was just a little girl in I Am Sam.
EW and Riskybusiness reported that Apparition has picked up the US rights to THE RUNAWAYS and will release the biopic of the all female Rock n’ Roll band in theaters on March 19th, 2010. The movie hasn’t premiered at Sundance yet and it’s already got a date and a distributor, that’s cool and all but I remember this past year Apparition distributed Black Dynamite and Boondock Saints II which I thought were entertaining movies and yet they opened limited only in select cities and that stinks because not many got to enjoy them… Read the rest of this entry »

Kristen Stewart banks millions of dollars for herself just by playing Bella in Twilight franchise but then she also went out and made Adventureland, The Runaways and Welcome To The Rileys. It’s good that she tries other gigs, Rob Pattinson is doing the same for his career too, unlike Chris Tucker who gets paid millions of dollars doing a Rush Hour movie and then took a long-ass vacation until he gets paid millions of dollars again for another Rush Hour movie. That guy cracks me up.
But does mixing things up in between mean Kristen Stewart is sharpening and improving her acting skills or will we just get to see different versions of Bella?
Ropeofsilicon has the first images of Kristen Stewart as a stripper/prostitute in the movie WELCOME TO THE RILEYS. This movie is part of Sundance ‘10 Line-Up, among the dramatic competition, word has it, we might see more of Stewart’s bare skin but I doubt she’d be willing to go all out just yet and get an Oscar nod ala Marisa Tomei. But as you can see, Stewart looks like Bella if after Edward left, Bella turns slutty and does the nasty for money.
Story follows a man played by the great James Gandolfini and woman, played by the great Melissa Leo who have been driven apart by grief after losing their daughter but are brought back together when they meet a troubled young woman (Stewart).
Salvation by helping out a stripper… hm..why didn’t I think of that?!

The Twilight Saga: NEW MOON is the third all time best opening weekend movie domestically and it has won the first throne again in its second weekend bringing the worldwide total to $473 Million as of today. The third installment, ECLIPSE, directed by David Slade will open next summer but there’s still no sign if Summit will greenlight the fourth adaptation, BREAKING DAWN. You would think that with all this profit, they’d jump into the opportunity without even thinking about it. But a Variety article explains that the movie might come in 2 parts and Producer Wyck Godfrey said they have “every intention to make BREAKING DAWN”, read more and watch the video after this jump… Read the rest of this entry »
