You remember that OLDBOY remake that Will Smith and Steven Spielberg have been trying to make?! How they wanted to base it on the Japanese manga series by Nobuaki Minegishi and Garon Tsuchiya instead of straight up remaking the Chan Wook Park’s classic. At one point they even got Mark Protosevich (I Am Legend) to write the screenplay. Smith kept bragging that their version will be stunning. You remember all that talk and plan right?
