Peter Segal

Real quick now, Variety reported that Adam Sandler’s go-to director (Anger Management, The Longest Yard, 50 First Dates), Peter Segal, who also directed last year’s hit comedy Get Smart but couldn’t direct GET SMART 2 yet because WB postponed it due to Steve Carell wanting to do other project including DATE NIGHT with Tina Fey, is in final talks to direct NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH

The project previously had David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers) set todirect with Will Ferrell attached to star as a man who moves to the suburbs, joins the neighborhood watch and uncovers an alien conspiracy. But both individuals have left the project, which is housed at 20th Century Fox
Shawn Levy (Night At The Museum) was supposed to direct but he chose to just sit back as a producer. will be written by Jared Stern (Bolt)
