Recently, it was confirmed that Sam Worthington will star in THE FIELD formerly known as THE TEXAS KILLING FIELD but now it seems the title has changed into TEXAS KILLING FIELDS. Worthington is set to play a local homicide detective who works with a New York detective. Is it going to be 3D… or NOT 3D?? CLASH OF THE TITANS the remake once again is entering this ring for the third time around after Sam Worthington said it might get converted to 3D but director Louis Leterrier then said there’s just no time, he felt the result would be insignificant compared to James Cameron’s AVATAR. I don’t know why Leterrier had to cut himself short like that, I thought The Incredible Hulk was awesome and that wasn’t in 3D. In case you’re wondering, yes the worldwide total for AVATAR has surpassed $1 Billion mark and still going, domestically as well, the James Cameron 3D epic also climbed up to no. 4 with $450 Million, beating Shrek 2, closing in on Star Wars but still a distance away from The Dark Knight and especially Titanic which holds the all-time domestic throne at $600 Million. I think we can all agree that the new trailer for CLASH OF THE TITANS released this past week was badass to the bone. The sight of the giant scorpion rising from behind the hill was massive. I thought it looked fine and promising but apparently director Louis Leterrier and Legendary Pictures and WB thought it could still use some more tweaking if you will, even if we’re only about 3 months away from the nationwide release. And just like that WB has released 3 new official posters for the remake CLASH OF THE TITANS starring Sam Worthington. Some of these shots and more were leaked online a few weeks ago and the other day but I chose not to post them because it’s a b*tch to receive an e-mail from WB requesting me to remove them but these ones are legit, via Yahoo, including a cool artwork of Worthington holding what appears to be Medusa’s head. Don’t forget to check out the cool teaser featuring giant scorpions, the CG work looks so much better than how those things looked in the original version years ago.
