The trailer for the live action movie TEKKEN is finally online, via teaser-trailer.com and I gotta say.. Ya know ho Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li last year gave us migraine?! The movie was so bad, the audience felt suicidal after viewing?! Well, TEKKEN might just be this year’s Chun-Li. From bad acting, to bad plot, to bad characters who knows. The list could go on and on and on. I’m just hoping the fight choreography would be decent enough to make this movie bearable. Brought to you by the director of Anacondas: The Hunt For The Blood Orchid, that should tell you much. We’ve seen the first look image and trailer description, I’ve even talked with star Cung Le who plays Marshall Law, about it but the live action game-based movie TEKKEN still doesn’t have a U.S. release date, however, Twitchfilm has received info that it will hit theaters in Japan in March 2010. And along with that, the international teaser poster has been released by WB at the Japanese official site for the movie. When I interviewed MMA fighter Cung Le who plays Marshall Law in the upcoming TEKKEN movie based on the Namco video game , he told me that he basically didn’t have a great experience because even though his character is popular, he only had a small part and they kept pushing back his shooting date, everything was cramped and rushed. Comingsoon.net spotted the teaser art above at the recent AFM ‘09. It currently doesn’t have a release date but TEKKEN live action movie is directed by Dwight H. Little with the script by Alan B. McElroy, the story is about Jin Kazama’s quest for revenge against Tekken Corporation chairman Heihachi Mishima, the man responsible for the death of his mother. Last week I had the chance to interview the awesome mixed martial art fighter turned actor, Cung Le. He is a familiar face if you’ve followed MMA religiously, but he was also seen earlier this year in FIGHTING with Channing Tatum and he has a movie that opens next Friday, September 25th, 2009 titled PANDORUM, (check out the trailer) a sci-fi horror from producer Paul W.S. Anderson (Event Horizon, Resident Evil, Death Race)

If you think the upcoming movie STREET FIGHTER: THE LEGEND OF CHUN-LI is going to be awful, wait til you get a load of this. The first look images of the cast of the movie adaptation TEKKEN based on that Namco’s popular fighting game have hit the web. The only excluded, for some reason, is the star Luke Goss as Steve Fox. I was never a big fan of the game, but for those of who were, you might know more than I do as far as the characters that these people play.
Here’s another reason why this movie will be just as horrible as it looks.. Director Dwight Little’s resume includes Anacondas 2, Deep Blue, Murder at 1600, Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers. You catch my drift? The man offers nothing that would make us give him the benefit of the doubt.

SYNOPSIS:
A Young Man Who seeks revenge of his mothers death. He finds his grand-father, Heihachi Mishima, and pleas to be trained. When the Mishima leader announces a “King of Iron Fist” tournament. He finds out that his mother’s killer will be participating in the tournament. He must fight against the worlds top competitors to achieve his goal with no interference.
