Back in August, director Guillermo Del Toro, in charge of helming one of the biggest, most ambitious projects that a filmmaker can experience, spending a few years adapting THE HOBBIT with producer Peter Jackson and friends, openly denied 3D rumor for the 2-part Middle Earth prequel epic. Peter Jackson To Adapt MORTAL ENGINES?
Peter Jackson has been called the Geek God and I still admire him for those Tolkien-based movies , definitely can’t wait for THE HOBBIT and I’m thankful for my massive present when King Kong opened on my birthday weekend back in 2005 but Jackson’s latest adaptation attempt The Lovely Bones fell short. I hated that movie so much, it made its way on my list of lamest movies of 2009. Turns out, there’s another book that he’s planning on bringing to the big screen… Read the rest of this entry »
