I just watched the season 4 finale of Dexter, Holy mother.. that was a crazy ending! I did not see that comin’ a mile away. Wow! There should be a contest between Samuel L. Jackson and Nicolas Cage to see which of the two is the actual busiest A-list star in Hollywood. The winner gets to have a vacation for a decade just so we could get recess from having always seen his face on screen.
Just last week, Nicolas Cage signed on for DRIVE ANGRY, a 3D revenge action movie and now he’s signed on to do yet another revenge movie but this this time it’s thriller and not in 3D, well at least that’s what they’re reporting, who knows if all of a sudden they’d like to later on convert it into 3D like what Marvel is trying to do with IRON MAN 2.
According to Hollywood Reporter, the title of the thriller is THE HUNGRY RABBIT JUMPS. If your kid thinks it’s some kind of children’s movie and nursery rhyme and they want to watch it, I wouldn’t allow it if I were you.
The Bank Job director Roger Donaldson will be helming the project for Tobey Maguire’s Maguire Entertainment and Endgame, keep in mind that Maguire will not be co-starring with Cage in this movie, he’s just producing alongside Jim Stern (An Education)
The story was written by scribe Robert Tannen, about a man (Cage) whose wife is the victim of a brutal crime. He subsequently becomes entangled with an underground vigilante organization.It’s described as a Hitchcockian thriller where Cage’s character finds himself way in over his head.
Here’s something interesting, production will start in January 2010 in New Orleans, Cage loves that place, BAD LIEUTENANT and DRIVE ANGRY have the same filming location.
When I make my own movies someday, I’m going to have the place set in Riverside, CA for all of them, just like how M. Night Shyamalan loves using his dear old Philadelphia.
