Poor Sir Ian McKellen, he’s a fine, fine actor who didn’t deserve such treatment. He recently had to endure the stupidity of Elizabeth Hasselbeck, Whoopi Goldberg and the rest of the THE VIEW numbnuts. Those broads didn’t know what they were talking about and the worst part was that they kept talking. I was away for the most part of today, circling Hollywood, visiting Rodeo Drive, staring at the awesome suits I can’t afford. So I kinda missed out what went down at D23 Expo, so let’s try to keep up, shall we. Pixar knows how to get you even more excited than you already are for TOY STORY 3 in 3D.
We know, most of the original cast return plus Michael Keaton as the voice of Ken and Timothy Dalton was recently announced as the voice of Mr. Pricklepants and now director Lee Unkrich said via his twitter that Jeff Garlin (Wall-E), Bonnie Hunt (Cars) and Whoopi Goldberg will join the cast, wait, that’s not all, the kid who voiced young Andy in the first two Toy Story movies also returns to voice the now 18 year old Andy about to go to college. The actor’s name is John Morris and he’s now 24 years old.
Other studio would easily do a recast in this situation but not Pixar, it’s faithful to its actors as much as it’s faithful in bringing nothing but the best of stories to its fans.
