I know this is not a TV blog but let me just say that my favorite series from the 80s was The A-Team, my favorite series from the 90s was The X-Files and my favorite series from this decade is Lost. I don’t know what the next decade will hold, what the next small screen phenomenon will be. Fringe is cool but at times it seems like a wannabee X-Files. I haven’t seen FlashForward, I heard good things about it but I also heard people say it’s trying to be the next Lost with all its mythology. Now that we’ve seen the trailer we missed this week, it’s time to look at photos and posters. Thanks to comingsoon.net, First off, here is the poster for X-FILES 2.
A low quality trailer and a poster that doesn’t show much. I’m not disappointed yet, it only makes me anticipate it even more.
X-FILES 2 opens July 25th, 2008 and ends with me and Scully walking hand-in-hand into the sunset. I wish!

I’ve been away for far too long so I’m gonna make every post real quick.
Here’s a low quality trailer for the new X-FILES sequel movie and I know it looks sh*tty right now but as soon as the sharper version hit the web, I’ll post it here.
You gotta admit though… if you’re fan, you must be as excited as I am about seeing Scully and Mulder and the alien conspiracy back in action again.
X-FILES 2 hits theaters July 25th, 2008

The filming for the movie sequel based on one of my favorite series of all time, X-FILES 2 came to an end.
Now it’s time for director Chris Carter and his editing crew to start post-production, and quickly I might add because the movie’s supposed to be out by July 25th, 2008.
I sure hope that doesn’t mean a hasty work resulting in half-ass results.

According to a long article on National Post, apparently paparazzi were spying on them for most of their shooting process, o and uh.. those photos of David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson kissing, which you can see HERE, David said they staged that… I knew that!

So what’s the story going to be? They’re still keeping this one secret but so far here’s what they’re trying to do with this sequel according to producer Frank Spotnitz…

The movie is a stand-alone story unconnected to the series’ ongoing conspiracy thread, but beyond that they’re not saying much.

“We’re not doing an exercise in nostalgia to appeal to the fans of the show,” said co-writer and producer Frank Spotnitz. “We saw this as an opportunity to introduce the characters to people who may have been too young . . . It has a reason for being, even if there’d never been a television show before.”

Fine then, don’t share! Let’s see if I care.
Who am I kiddin’.. of course I’ll still see the movie, that’s what happens when you’re a fan of something. You stick by it thick or thin.
Too bad Gillian Anderson was too sick to attend that press conference, for the record, once again… she’s hot!

Flynet sent their paparazzi to take some shots of images of Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny on the set of the sequel movie X-FILES 2, no official title yet has been given.
Some say director Chris Carter, David and Gillian are just staging this to create a buzz about the characters Mulder and Scully looking like they’re an item.
Prank or no prank.. it’s still awesome to see those two back to doing what they’re famous for.
Maybe the characters are dating now, who knows…. Scully is hot anyway, if I were Mulder I’d ask her out in heartbeat and give a good one just like the first picture here below.
