Before 2003, no one practically recognized the funny bastard named Danny McBride and then The Foot Fist Way came along and all of a sudden, he was in Hot Rod, Drillbit Taylor, Fanboys, Pineapple Express, Tropic Thunder, Land of The Lost, he’s like the new supporting star of comedy. He even did well going toe to toe with George Clooney in Up In The Air. Universal Pictures has released the official synopsis for their upcoming movies, YOUR HIGHNESS, GET HIM TO THE GREEK, THE UNTITLED ROBIN HOOD ADVENTURE, MACGRUBER and GREEN ZONE.

Real quick now, if you’re still not familiar with the name Justin Theroux, you will come summer 2010 because the fate of IRON MAN 2 partially lies in his hands,… his story, his screenplay could make or break the sequel. He’s an actor (Mullholland Drive, Charlie’s Angels 2, Miami Vice) that ventured off a bit to writing (Tropic Thunder) and now he’s going back to acting again. According to Hollywood Reporter, Theroux has signed on to play the villain in the medieval comedy YOUR HIGHNESS.

Written by The Foot Fist Way gang Danny McBride and Ben Best, they’re currently filming in Ireland, we recently saw what appears to be the first yet puzzling image from the production. starring James Franco and Danny McBride as two spoiled and arrogant princes forced to go on a quest to save their family and the kingdom after an evil wizard casts a spell on their father and kidnaps the older prince’s fiance. Natalie Portman plays a warrior princes, McBride’s love interest and Zooey Deschanel as Belladona, Franco’s virginal bride. Theroux will play Leezar, an evil wizard with magical staff who kidnaps Belladona

YOUR HIGHNESS opens October 1st, 2010

As we all know, before Natalie Portman does BLACK SWAN and THOR, she is currently in the middle of filming YOUR HIGHNESS the medieval comedy starring James Franco and Danny McBride as two spoiled and arrogant princes forced to go on a quest to save their family and the kingdom after an evil wizard casts a spell on their father and kidnaps the older prince’s fiance. Natalie Portman plays a warrior princes, McBride’s love interest and Zooey Deschanel as Belladona, Franco’s virginal bride.

The third installment in the Meet The Parents franchise has got itself a release date. Universal has announced that LITTLE MOTHAFOCKERS… oops, I meant.. LITTLE FOCKERS will open in theaters nationwide on July 30th, 2010. Via comingsoon.net, Reprising their roles are Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Owen Wilson, Teri Polo and Blythe Danner, directed by Paul Weitz.
The story revolves around Gaylord Focker’s children.
The competing movies that open on that same weekend are CBS Films’ BEASTLY starring Vanessa Hudgens, WB’s CATS & DOGS: THE REVENGE OF KITTY GALORE and Paramount’s MORNING GLORY starring Harrison Ford and Rachel McAdams
I’m actually secretly anticipating that Cats & Dogs sequel, because I thought the 2001 first installment was hysterical

Danny McBride plays an arrogant lazy prince who with his brother (Franco) must complete a quest to save the kingdom and his brother’s fiance. Portman will play a warrior princess that the lazy prince falls in love with.

I saw the sweet indie 500 Days Of Summer yesterday and the way the movie tells of how Zooey Deschanel’s character is so irresistibly cute, she does well in everything she does, with everybody she encounters, aligns with reality because there’s just something hypnotic about Deschanel. Just by staring at her, I feel like doing whatever she commands me to do.
According to Hollywood Repoter, Deschanel has joined the cast of YOUR HIGHNESS, a medieval comedy written by Danny McBride (Land of the Lost) and Ben Best a.k.a Chuck The Truck of Foot Fist Way, already starring James Franco (Pineapple Express) and Natalie Portman

The story of YOUR HIGHNESS is about two spoiled and arrogant princes in a medieval fantasy setting, forced to go on a quest to save their family and the kingdom after an evil wizard casts a spell on their father and kidnaps the older prince’s fiance. Portman plays a warrior princes, McBride’s love interest.. which caught me off guard, I thought Franco would get the bigger prize… but no worries, he’s got Deschanel as Belladona, Franco’s virginal bride.
Directed by David Gordon Green, production starts this month in Northern Ireland… lucky charm punks! I’ve always wanted to go there.
Knowing Franco, McBride and Best, I wouldn’t be surprised if this Irish medieval road trip had lots of weed-smokin’ leprechauns and Rogen’s cameo.

A few months ago, it was announced that Pineapple Express stars James Franco and Danny McBride would team up in the comedy project YOUR HIGHNESS written by McBride and his Foot Fist Way buddy, Chuck the Truck, or some may know him by his birthname, Ben Best.

Now Variety reported that forever cutie Natalie Portman has joined the team. I’d follow that woman to the ends of the earth. I wonder what she’s looking at in the image above. Maybe me, out in the yard, looking back at her using brand spankin’ new binoculars that has her name on ‘em.
