He will answer as many questions as he can over the 24 hours which will start from the posting of that morning’s first Tweet. This event is happening to promote the book Shootin’ The Sh*t With Kevin Smith hitting the shelves September 22nd, 2009. It’s a collection of essays of the best moments of Smith’s conversation with producer Scott Mosier on their popular podcast SModcast. This is what Smith said..

“This is not news at all. In fact, it’s kinda stupid. But I wanna see if I can do it. I’ve been training for this my whole life, simply by being a lazy fat-ass who’d rather stare at a screen than better himself with a brisk constitutional. Someone asked what my training regiment is gonna be, and I told them I’ve already stockpiled lots of Count Chocula.”

So there you go! If you never got the chance to ask Kevin Smith questions every year at the Comic-Con panel, you can now ask him anything online. I’d ask him what the new title for A COUPLE OF DICKS would be or that SUPERMAN script of his, or you should ask him why Zack and Miri Make a Porno wasn’t funny.

Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks, now that’s an odd couple. First it was Katherine Heigl, now Elizabeth Banks! Seth Rogen is the luckiest average lookin’ man in the world.

ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO Opens October 31st, 2008. It’s about two friends who partner up to start a porno video business in order to eliminate their debts and they fall for each other in the process.
Maybe you can do that to pay off your school loans… just a thought.

Via newaskew, Kevin Smith revealed that he’s going to release the movie’s red-band trailer anytime soon.
That means once it hits the web it will be available on Rama’s SCREEN as well for your viewing pleasure.

This time is not so much about actor turned director as it is actor/director Kevin Smith who’s famous for playing the character Silent Bob in his previous movies. His next directorial film is ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO starring Seth Rogen and the beautiful Elizabeth Banks. The foul mouth Kevin Smith is also the one who came up with the story. It’s about two friends who decide to start a porno movie business to get out of debt and they fall in love in the process.
I don’t know if I wanna see Seth and Elizabeth gettin’ it on. I hope they won’t have to do such scene.

From USA Today, here is the first look picture from the upcoming comedy movie ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO. Scheduled for release later this year. Directed by Kevin “Silent Bob” Smith (Mall Rats, Dogma), this movie stars Seth Rogen (Superbad, Knocked Up) and the pretty blond Elizabeth Banks (Definitely Maybe, Fred Claus)

The story is about two broke-ass friends who decide to make a porn video to pay off their debts and eventually they fall in love.
