Can humans live by Sequels alone?
Hollywood thinks we can, because for some odd reason, no matter how bad the sequels turn out, we’ll always see ourselves watching them either in theaters on DVD… sad but true,
I thought Sex and the City The Movie was great for its fans such as yours truly, but I thought it should’ve been a made-for-TV movie instead.
I haven’t seen Journey to the Center of The Earth 3-D but some have said it was on the ridiculous side.
But does that stop Hollywood from making the sequels? If you say yes, then you are more naive than Forrest Gump.
Via Entertainment Weekly, SEX AND THE CITY 2 is already in early development, and is apparently being fast-tracked by Warner Brothers because New Line Cinema is history.
According to Moviehole, Director Eric Brevig has been speaking recently about his interest in possibly making JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH 2.
“At the end of the movie, they find a book about Atlantis. That might be something… If people embrace the movie and want to see these characters on another adventure, we might come up with something.’’
Do you think these are good ideas?
Would you wanna see any of these sequels? I mean…. what more can you do with Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha?
And Brendan Fraser finding Atlantis… doesn’t the next National Treasure movie already want to do something similar?
