When I first saw this trailer attached to the movie Hancock, I was determined to find it online but it was nowhere to be found but today it has hit the web for our enjoyment.
It always gets me awestruck to see the sight of Jennifer Connelly, there’s just something about her face, her presence that takes this immigrant’s breath away.
But then Keanu Reeves shows up and I just can’t his acting. But I think this remake THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL will do well in making the audiences curious about what it is and what will happen to earth.
This is yet another environmental themed movie.. just like the others that have been in theaters all this year (Wall-E, The Happening).
In this movie, an alien visitor played by Keanu Reeves gives mankind a warning that if we don’t start behaving and getting our acts together, then his alien robots with killing abilities will do destroy us and cleans earth of its biggest bacteria,.. humans.
It is a 2008 science fiction film, a remake of the 1951 film of the same name. Directed by Scott Derrickson and starring Keanu Reeves as Klaatu, the film updates the Cold War themes of man against man, to the more contemporary concerns of man against nature.
