Paramount Vantage has released 2 trailers for the upcoming comedy THE GOODS: LIVE HARD SELL HARD starring Jeremy Piven in yet another Ari Gold-like performance.. Watch the trailers using the media players below, the second one of course is Restricted so it might ask you to verify your age first before you can watch it, ya know, just to separate the boys from the men.
The movie definitely has Will Ferrell type comedy, it has some funny moments but I don’t wanna judge too early. One thing to mention though, that Asian actor Ken Jeong is everywhere now. He was in Pineapple Express, Role Models, he is also going to be in the upcoming THE HANGOVER, FUNNY PEOPLE and COUPLE’S RETREAT. Represent!
Who is Don Ready? Salesman? Lover? Song Stylist? Semi-professional dolphin trainer? Ready is all of the above, except for a dolphin trainer. When he’s asked to help save an ailing local car dealership from bankruptcy, Ready and his ragtag crew descend on the town of Temecula like a pack of coyotes on a basket full of burgers. Selling, drinking, selling and going to strip clubs is their stock and trade. And they do it well. What Don doesn’t expect is to fall in love and find his soul (cue heartfelt piano).
The film is the first production from Will Ferrell and Adam McKay’s Gary Sanchez Productions, directed by Neal Brennan, creator of the Comedy Central hit, “Chappelle’s Show.”
