THE SPY NEXT DOOR Trailer

Spy Next Door

The trailer for THE SPY NEXT DOOR is now online via moviefone. This is basically Jackie Chan’s The Pacifier. Do me a favor please and don’t watch this trailer. Just think back and cherish all the good Jackie Chan movies in the past like Drunken Master and hold on to that memory because once you’ve seen this dumb, dumb trailer, there’s no turning back, I kid you not.
Ok, don’t say I didn’t warn you. If you still insist, watch it at your own risk after this jump…

Jackie Chan plays an international spy borrowed by the American government. His character is called to baby-sit his neighbor’s children and winds up having to fight off secret agents after one of the kids inadvertently downloads a secret code.

THE SPY NEXT DOOR opens January 15th, 2010

Wow… I’d rather see a Rush Hour 4 (and that’s not much of a compliment) haha Who knows though? Maybe all that improvised martial arts that Jackie is famous for can make things up for the unoriginal story.

I doubt it, my friend, I highly doubt it.
This movie is going to be Razzie Awards’s next nomination… along with Dwayne Johnson’s Tooth Fairy.

Ok this guy need to stop. Rama will you please sit him down and tell him that these films are no longer amusing. It was cute in the early 90’s but after the matrix movies and Bourne trilogy it’s just bleh. Family films and martial arts really don’t mix. It’s like oxy-moron. He needs to just get down right hardcore. Just do a movie with Steven Seeagal or just join the new universal soldier movie cast. That will put hair on his chest.
