Last month, AICN heard that Fox’s title for FANTASTIC FOUR Reboot is FANTASTIC FOUR: REBORN. Screenrant said not only does the project exist, The Thing, previously played by Michael Chiklis, will not be an actor wearing orange foam and make up again.. this time it will be completely CG just like Abomination and Hulk in The Incredible Hulk. This is a wise move because it will make the character less laughable and will be true to the original material, The Thing is supposed to be massive, rock monster, way bigger than the rest of Fantastic Four team members.. not like Chiklis’ version who stood just about the same size as the others.
The website also said Fox won’t be focusing much on FANTASTIC FOUR: REBORN yet, at least not until after filming for X-MEN: FIRST CLASS is wrapped up. So we’re going to have to wait a while before they start working on this reboot.
