Falling for your brother’s girlfriend. Yikes, that’s a tough one, man. I know a heart chooses what a heart chooses but that’s a dangerous and very thin line to be dancing on. Which is why I wanna watch THE VICIOUS KIND, on top of that it stars J.K. Simmons who is one of the most under-appreciated talents around today, Brittany Snow, cute in her non-blond role, and Adam Scott in what might be the start of a great career, I’m saying that because after a string of barely significant supporting gigs with Step Brothers, Monster In Law, August, Knocked Up, Scott could finally show us what he’s made of as a lead actor. Sleep-deprived and petulant by nature, Caleb Sinclaire reluctantly picks up his brother Peter at college and brings him and his new girlfriend Emma home for Thanksgiving. Having recently broken up with his girlfriend, Caleb warns Peter that Emma will end up hurting him, but he can’t stop himself from being drawn to her. As Caleb’s obsession with Emma grows, he must decide whether to act on his feelings or protect his brothers first love.
