I don’t care if the previous 2004 Punisher movie sucked, I refuse to believe that this is going to have the same fate.
Judging from this trailer for PUNISHER: WAR ZONE, I think this version will be non stop adrenaline rush, raw heavy metal action packed with bullets firing from every cylinder.
Too bad the trailer, available from IGN, comes and goes way too fast, I hope they’ll release a red band trailer soon enough.
That’s right…This movie is going to be rated R and it will make Tom Jane and John Travolta’s Punisher movie looked like kid’s play.
Directed by a woman who can kick your ass literally because Lexi Alexander is a former World Karate and Kickboxing Champion and she’ll guarantee that the R rating this movie gets will not disappoint us action flick die hards.
In this installment, Frank Castle (Ray Stevenson) arrives in New York to take on an underworld boss, Jigsaw (Dominic West) who plots to take control of the underworld.
One note, both actors who play Punisher and Jigsaw are British.

SYNOPSIS:
Waging his one-man war on the world of organized crime, ruthless vigilante-hero Frank Castle sets his sights on overeager mob boss Billy Russoti. After Russoti is left horribly disfigured by Castle, he sets out for vengeance under his new alias: Jigsaw. With the “Punisher Task Force” hot on his trail and the FBI unable to take Jigsaw in, Frank must stand up to the formidable army that Jigsaw has recruited before more of his evil deeds go unpunished.
