Yesterday’s big news was the information about the call sheet for TRANSFORMERS 2. I was at the advanced screening for THE LOVE GURU, so I had to postpone posting the info.. until now…
Via slashfilm and transformers live. There’s a call sheet for the beginning parts of the production.
They’re currently filming at a steel factory in Betlehem, Pennsylvania. They transform it so that it would not look like it’s located in America. The story has it set for Shanghai, China.
The scenes describe action and vehicle chases occurring along a “Shanghai Steel Yard” and “Shanghai Side Street”. The scene is the Autobots, SAS and Lennox’s team chasing after Decepticon Audi R8. What the air attacks are about is not on the call sheets but I imagine they are Decepticons
The call sheet includes the list of the human cast. In summary, it says that the Bethlehem Steel shoot included stars Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Matthew Marsden and Andrew Howard, as well as the recently cast Ramon Rodriguez. Neither Shia LaBeouf nor Megan Fox appeared on the call sheet for that days shooting, that’s because Megan Fox was busy making out with me at the time…. I wish

So let’s get to the best part, shall we? Which Transformers were present and kickin’ it?
The Transformers who were confirmed to appear at the site include Ironhide and Bumblebee. New Transformers appearing at the shoot include Arcee (the motorcycles), The Twins (the Ice Cream Truck), Stinger (a Porsche I think), unknown Decepticon (Audi R8), Wheels or Wheelbot (the Go-Kart?), Jetfire (the Blackbird) and a “Constructicon Earth Mover”.
Production’s location has moved to the Smithsonian Air and Space Muesum. The shooting schedule is June 5 to Sunday June 6. The cast will include Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, John Turturro and Ramon Rodriguez. Based on the scenes it appears they are hunting for something Decepticon related at the museum after hours involving the SR-71 Blackbird (with a Decepticon insignia) that is there.
