I was at the Comic-Con this past July and one of the booths had a bunch of movie-related T-shirts and the owner/the dude behind the counter was wearing BOONDOCK SAINTS shirt, one of the coolest cult hits of all time, and so we had a long chat about how we can’t wait for the second installment, and it’s just gonna rock socks off. Now Troy Duffy, the genius who brought us the first movie has posted video blogs documenting the production of BOONDOCK SAINTS 2: ALL SAINTS DAY, you can check out his never-ending ranting in front of the camera, answering fans’ questions and see the duo Sean Patrick Flannery and Norman Reedus doing their thing as the McManus brothers again. It still feels like it’s handicapped though knowing that Willem Defoe isn’t set to reprise his role for this project, his hilarious/disturbing character in the Boondock Saints was legendary.
