Summit Entertainment is trying to get Chris Weitz to take the bait and direct TWILIGHT anticipated, sequel, NEW MOON, but so far there’s no confirmation yet on that side of the business.
On another along the same line, via bloody-disgusting, the plan is to release all the next three movies every year, kinda like what SAW franchise does.
So NEW MOON will open in 2009, ECLIPSE opens in 2010, and BREAKING DAWN in 2011.
The second script, written by Rosenberg, has been turned in to Summit Entertainment, once again, they’re just waiting for who’s gonna get to be the Director.
