This Mother’s Day, there’s a reason not to celebrate because a certain twisted sick f*ck mother and her two sadistic demented sons are out to kill again. According to Variety, the producers of Saw franchise and director Darren Lynn Bousman who helmed Saw 2, 3, and 4 are bringing back an old time horror flick into our time. The 1980’s MOTHER’S DAY was directed by Charles Kaufman who thankfully is not one and the same person as the great Charlie Kaufman (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind)
The original version is about 3 girlfriends who are out in the woods having some fun when unbeknown to them that a mother and her two boys are there as well and they’re up to no good, and by up to no good I mean the two grown ass boys are going to rape and torture those 3 girls and the mother will enjoy watching it all happen.
I like SAW movie but If they’re going to do this MOTHER’S DAY remake, I’m not sure how they’re going to pull it off and still have it shown on the big screen without getting b*tchslapped by MPAA ratings for strong.. well just about anything you can think of.. strong violence, strong sex, strong gore, strong graphic torture scenes.
