We’re still in the post-Emmy mood. The trades are reporting who won and who didn’t and who wore the best dresses, you know the drill. I watch TV but I don’t care much about Emmys as much as I do Oscars, although I am happy for Tina Fey’s 30 Rock, that is by far the funniest series to ever hit the small screen since Seinfeld. I know, some of you probably think ‘how dare you Rama putting Seinfeld over Friends, or Cheers, or I Love Lucy‘.. hey, I got my opinion and you have yours and besides, the show about nothing wasn’t meant for everyone to enjoy, that’s fact.
So while we’re anticipating for more movie info to hit the fan.. ehm. I mean to hit the web, Quietearth kept itself busy this weekend, it’s got its hands on some legit posters for one of the best sci-fi movies of the year, MOON, (Check out my review) that wasn’t used by theaters, but then again Sony Pictures Classic in all its weird wisdom decided to release it limited instead of nationwide.
I’m just hoping the Oscars won’t forget Sam Rockwell’s brilliant performance when it’s time to hand the golden statuette.
These are some cool artwork though, it’s a shame theater-goers never got to see them. Amazon UK says MOON will hit DVD and Blu-Ray on November 16th, 2009, I’m sure we here in the U.S. would get it around the same season or possibly December.
