The fans of Twilight series can take a deep breath in relief because previous rumor that had Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical) auditioning for the role of Leah Clearwater in the sequel movie, NEW MOON, is Not True. That’s the info that Entertainment Weekly has received..
Sources inside Summit Entertainment and Hudgens’ camp tell EW that the filmmakers aren’t looking at the star (best known as High School Musical’s Gabriella Montez) for any role in the soon-to-be-shooting Twilight followup
I guess the role is still up for grabs. That means my friend Eseta can still try out to see if she could play the part. I’ve never read the book so I wouldn’t even know how to begin to visualize what Leah Clearwater might look like or who I think will be perfect for the role.
All I’ve heard is that this character is bitter, cynical, and likes to antagonize Jacob.. sounds like an ex-wife from hell
This is good news indeed. The character Leah is not a bitter ex-wife from hell. She is a heart broken young girl who doesn’t understand fate…and can’t comes to terms with it. You’ll see what I mean.
