You know what I anticipate the most about the upcoming sequel WALL STREET 2: MONEY NEVER SLEEPS? The suits, man.. if I could have the same style of suits that Josh Brolin, Michael Douglas and Shia Labeouf got to wear in this movie, I’ll be a happy man. Although I’d wear a skinny tie instead of that big business look. In the sequel, jake (Shia Labeouf) wants to be a major player, but his mentor (Frank Langella) unexpectedly kills himself and Shia thinks a stock-shorting worldwide hedge fund manager (Josh Brolin) is responsible. Gekko (Michael Douglas) finished serving his prison sentence. He is cautioning Wall Street that the end is coming, but nobody is listening. So Gordon is obsessed with trying to repair his ruptured relationship with his daughter. Jake is engaged to be married to Gekko’s estranged daughter (Carrey Mulligan), so he goes to Gordon saying, “I need your help”, and makes a Faustian deal with Gekko who in return wants Jake’s help getting back with the daughter.
and somewhere along the way Bud Fox (Charlie Sheen) will return in this story. And also co-starring Susan Sarandon as Jake’s mom
