WATCHMEN on Trial, January 6th

watchmen

One again, I’m not a lawyer and I didn’t do so hot on my business law class back in college. But I am a movie buff so, I’m curious as to how this bickering would end.
And by bickering, I mean the whole lawsuit over WATCHMEN Movie, the fight between Fox and WB. They’re like two greedu children wanting the same brand new toy.

According to Variety
Los Angeles federal judge Gary Allen Feess has set a Jan. 6 trial date for 20th Century Fox’s lawsuit over Warner Bros. Pictures’ right to make a film based on the graphic novel Watchmen.

Warner Bros. has not backed off March 6 as the opening for Watchmen, directed by Zack Snyder.
Judge Gary Allen Feess Feess indicated Tuesday that the case was not suitable for preliminary injunction and that the issues were too complex to be resolved on an interim basis. The judge had already indicated that he wants the case to move quickly, asking the two parties previously for expedited discovery.

Well, well, well, it’s getting heated, ladies and gentlemen.
There’s one question running through my mind right now…
Fox Vs. WB
Anybody placing bets?
